Isaac Center for Public Health: Bridging Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare Workshop
The Bridging AI and Healthcare workshop was held from 29th April to 1st May, 2025, at IISc. Jointly organized by the Isaac Centre for Public Health, the Department of Computational and Data Sciences, IISc, and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), the three-day event introduced participants to AI applications in healthcare through a blend of lectures, hands-on exercises, case studies, and critical appraisal tools.

Isaac Center for Public Health: Tracking Health Impacts of the Namma Metro Yellow Line
The upcoming Yellow Line of Namma Metro will boost Bengaluru’s connectivity, but its broader health and well-being effects remain understudied in India. To fill this gap, IISc’s Department of Civil Engineering and the Isaac Centre for Public Health have launched a collaborative project to evaluate how this metro line may impact public health and quality of life for city residents.
